Request Assistance

1. Chest Pain
- Call emergency services immediately.
- Have the person sit or lie down comfortably.
- If they are conscious and not allergic, you can give them an aspirin.
2. Severe Bleeding
- Apply direct pressure to the wound with a clean cloth.
- Elevate the injured area if possible.
- Do not remove any objects embedded in the wound.
3. Difficulty Breathing
- Call emergency services if breathing does not improve.
- Help the person to sit upright.
- If they have a prescribed inhaler, assist them in using it.
4. Unconsciousness
- Check for breathing and pulse.
- If not breathing, begin CPR immediately.
- Place them in the recovery position if they are breathing.
5. Burns
- Cool the burn under running water for at least 10 minutes.
- Cover the burn with a sterile, non-stick dressing.
- Do not apply ice directly to the burn.
